I believe in the power of deep, intentional exploration.
Influenced by a worldview based in diversity, I approach all parts of being human from a place of curiosity, not shame. Navigating life with authenticity is a courageous journey, often pressing against societal expectations and the ways many of us learned to “do” things.
Whether you’re exploring your gender identity, seeking more authentic relationships, healing from religious trauma, or wanting to address intimacy challenges through sex therapy, I’m here to support you. Together, we can nurture self-discovery and foster deep connection.
-Greg Kilpatrick, Psychotherapist & Sex Therapist
Services
I provide psychotherapy, sex therapy and coaching for people looking to find deeper authenticity and connection in themselves and in their relationships.
Sex Therapy
Sex is a crucial way we connect with ourselves, our partner(s), and those around us. When challenges like sexual dysfunction, performance anxiety, or desire discrepancies arise, we can feel frustrated and isolated. You deserve an authentic, connected sexuality that feels fulfilling and whole!
▽ Sexual performance anxiety & dysfunction
▽ Desire differences in relationships
▽ Shame around sexual expression
▽ Exploring kink or non-monogamy
Relationship Therapy
Relationships are bridges that connect us to the world. When communication breaks down or trust is broken, they can leave us feeling disconnected or anxious. Let’s work together to restore intimacy, rebuild trust, and strengthen connection in your relationships.
▽ Communication breakdowns
▽ Navigating infidelity or betrayal
▽ Boundaries in polyamorous or alternative relationships
▽ Intimacy and connection issues
Therapy for Religious Trauma
Spirituality can help us feel deeply connected, but religious trauma can shatter that bond. Healing from religious trauma enables you to reclaim your life and rebuild your relationship with sexuality, self, and others.
▽ Shame around sexual identity
▽ Fear of rejection or judgment
▽ Deconstructing harmful beliefs
▽ Reconciling faith with self and family
LGBT+ Focused Therapy
Living authentically as a queer person requires courage. Many of us navigate relationships, sexuality, and life differently. Together, we can embrace your full identity and foster community.
▽ Coming out
▽ Internalized homophobia and/or transphobia
▽ Navigating queer identity in relationships
▽ Finding community and belonging

FAQs
Are you in-person only? Or can we meet online?
Both!
I have an office in Old Town Pasadena in Southern Ca, but I also hold session via Zoom for Healthcare (a HIPPA secure and compliant video conferencing softaware)
What are your fees? Do you take insurance?
I do not work with directly insurance, but you may have out-of-network therapy benefits you can use. We can talk more about this during our consult.
I bill $250/ per 45 min session.
I do periodically have low-fee slots available if this fee is not affordable. Please don’t hesitate to reach out regardless of your financial sitation.
I'm not a LGBT person, can I still work with you?
Yes! 100%!
I work with people across the sexuality and gender spectrum. Whether you are gay or straight, cisgender or trans; you’ll find a warm safe place for you to explore here.
I feel a lot of spiritual turmoil right now, but I don't know if it counts as "trauma". Does it?
I get where you are coming from. I a lot of people ask “Am I traumatized enough for therapy?”
When leaving painful religious contexts, it not uncommon for a person ask themselves if they are over-reacting or if they are at fault for the things that happened. But here’s the deal: If you have been hurt by a religious or spiritual system and are feeling pain, the answer is “yes, you are traumatized enough for therapy.“
Please reach out.
So sex therapy. Do we like "have sex?"
Sex therapy is a type a “talk therapy” that generally does not include physical touch and never includes sex between the client(s) and therapist. However, sometimes in the course of therapy work I do collaboratively with a client as they are also working with a sexual health practitioner (called a surrogate partner therapist) who does use touch in their work.
Depending on your therapeutic goals, this type of collaborative referral may (or may not) be a great fit for you.
I want to work with you! How do I get started?
